Feria Intense Ombre

The Feria Intense Ombre kit is an amazingly cheap and easy way to pump a little variety into your hairstyle.

It’s offered both in blonde and red shades, making it suitable for warm and cool weather alike.

Blonde might be more fun in the warmer months. The deep burgundy shades might add a more sultry kick in the cooler months.

I was terrified to do this at home. My first ombre experience was at a salon. It cost $110 bucks! Took about 5 hours (clearly, I didn’t do any research in picking the salon), and I didn’t necessarily LOVE the results.

I chose the DIY version for my second run. I’ve repurchased and used this kit 3 times now and have been happy with the results every time. Here’s what it took to get there.

The kit includes:

There are many tutorials on YouTube which offer great technique advice. I didn’t find the formula to be damaging or excessively drying. There are parts of my hair that have now been bleached over 3 times and are only now starting to look brittle.

The kit costs $12.99 at Ulta and definitely worth a try if you’ve ever craved a little change in the hair department. Are there any fun hair trends you’ve come across that you’re planning on testing out during the holiday months?
