The Facial Radiance Pads are another awesome product by First Aid Beauty!
You know how some brands never disappoint you?
Well, more and more I’m realizing that First Aid Beauty is one of those brands.
I don’t have a “wow” moment with every product, per say, but I’m never disappointed.
They are like a good friend. No bells and whistles, but always present and consistent.
Of course, the Facial Radiance Pads are no exception. They are the ideal mild and gentle chemical exfoliant. Both the smell and the sting are mild and nearly undetectable.
For $30.00, you get 60 pads doused in a formula containing lactic and glycolic acid.
You can use the pads once or twice daily, so depending on your usage the product could last up to 2 months.
The best part is that the pads never dry out. I’ve been nursing my tub for over 4 months and the pads are as moist as when I first opened up the package.
Facial Radiance Pads do not contain parabens, sulfates, and the like. They do contain natural ingredients such as cucumber and lemon peel, which add to the product’s anti-aging and brightening abilities.
The Facial Radiance Pads are very similar in performance to Thayers Original Astringent Witch Hazel Pads. The Thayers’ pads have a much stronger scent, but at less than 1/3 of the price, they might be a better alternative for some.
Both are very travel friendly, especially since you don’t have to worry about packing extra cotton rounds for your toner. Neither product is drying, even when used twice daily.
The Facial Radiance Pads are a better choice for those sensitive to the Witch Hazel scent.
They contain a mild medicine cabinet scent, but there are no added artificial scents to the product.
Overall, the Facial Radiance Pads get a big thumbs up.
I’d love to hear your recommendations regarding toner soaked pads from other brands.
