These two lip combinations have become a part of my daily routine for the past few months. I’m hesitant to call them winter colors because I find the colors and formulas suitable for any season. Nonetheless, there’s something very flattering about the pink flush of winter cheeks when paired with a nice berry lip.
Combination #1: Clinique’s lipstick in the shade Black Honey paired with MAC’s lip liner in Half Red
What a gorgeous combination! I have to give credit to Tiffany for this combination. I have gone through 3 tubes of Black Honey and had not been able to find a suitable liner for it. Her pairing is spot on!
Black Honey is so hydrating, long lasting, and flattering to any complexion.
Both are gorgeous on their own, and very complimentary when paired together.
Combination #2: MAC’s Plumful lipstick paired with Nude Pink lip liner by NYX
Plumful is a Luster, my favorite MAC formula.
It’s applies sheer, but it’s long lasting and hydrating. I purchased this after hearing Estee from Essiebutton rave about it for a couple of years.
I paired it with Nude Pink by NYX simply because it was the only pinky nude I owned. Lucky for me, I love the combination.
The NYX lip liner is long wearing and matte. Paired together, these two are complimentary in color and formula.
I suspect I’ll be wearing these two combinations long into the spring months when the days are still cool enough to permit a slightly bolder pout.
