The TRESemme Keratin Smooth shampoo & conditioner are a great bargain at $5.99 a piece.
Of course, like the ultimate consumer I decided to purchase a TRESemme shampoo after reading an article on Vogue entitled In Defense of Cheap Shampoo.
I also purchased the treatment serum which I really liked even though it gave me neck acne. The author made a pretty a pretty good argument for the TRESemme shampoo and I completely agree.
I don’t, however, love the Keratin Smooth conditioner. I’ve tried and liked the conditioner from the TRESemme Naturals line before. The Keratin Smooth conditioner is rather heavy for daily use, although it would probably make a good weekly mask. I finally gave up and stopped using it once the shampoo was all used up. Is it just me, or do you find that companies should match their shampoo/conditioner ratios? I tend to use almost 2 shampoo bottles for every conditioner bottle. Overall, great shampoo but the conditioner is too heavy. The shampoo will work just as well if paired with another conditioner of your choosing.
