Lucky for Klorane, I’m prone to liking the brand regardless of how their products perform.
The Leave-in Spray with Citrus Pulp is a hair conditioner that claims to detangle normal to oily hair.
I’ve been blessed with hair that requires little to no maintenance. I don’t have tangled or damaged hair, which means I also tend not to demand much from hair products.
Still, this conditioner spray managed to disappoint me.
From the conditioner side of things it doesn’t really condition or offer softening or extra moisture. Sometimes I’ll continue to use a hair or body product simply because it smells good. This is not one of those times. This spray has a pharmacy smell. It’s really hard to describe because considering the words “citrus pulp” in the name, one might be inclined to think it should smell like orange blossoms. The actual scent is a little bit closer to stale soap or maybe even a citrus scented bathroom cleaner. Long story short, not something I want to smell like.
In an effort to use it up, I’ve tried using it at night, hoping the smell would dissipate by the next day. That was not the case. I could smell my hair all day and felt self-conscious at the though of passersby sensing the smell too.
