I have yet to be disappointed by a SINGLE product that would fall in the “French Pharmacy” category.
I love Nuxe as a brand.
I love the lip balm, the hand cream, the body oil, and have now fallen in love with the Anti-Fatigue Moisturizing Cream from their Crème Prodigieuse line.
I have to give proper respect to the French for their true appreciation and approach to skincare.
They have found a wonderful balance between making skincare a priority without treating it like a burden.
I feel like we go though our skincare routine begrudgingly, possibly because we’re terrified of the outcome of skipping our anti-aging products.
I find that I often repeat myself when discussing French skincare items because in my experience thus far they have all fallen in the “no fanfare, high yield” category.
The Anti-Fatigue Moisturizing Cream is yet another product that I’ll be adding to my “no drama, awesome results” list.
The packaging is simple.
The price is reasonable.
The scent is a lovely marriage between herbal and mildly floral.
It’s offered in two different formulations, dry and normal/combination.
I have oily skin, but can still use it (though only in the nighttime during the warmer months when I’m a tad bit more oily).
As far as the price goes, obviously this item will cost a lot less if purchased directly from a pharmacy versus purchased abroad and online.
The Nuxe items can be purchased at almost any pharmacy in France for as low as 15 euros, whereas in the US the Anti-Fatigue Moisturizing Cream retails for $37.00 dollars on the Nuxe site.
I’m not sure that I would purchase this in the US given the price to product amount ratio, but definitely recommend stocking up if you ever plan on making a pilgrimage to the great land of French Pharmacies.
