Living Proof Perfect Hair Day

I’m really enjoying a 3rd of the Living Proof Perfect Hair Day value set.

First off, this was a Black Friday purchase from Sephora. I feel slightly guilty about saying anything negative considering that I was able to try the entire range for 10 bucks. The value set consists of a shampoo, a conditioner, and a styling treatment.

Guilt aside, let’s get to the nitty gritty (starting from least liked):

Living Proof Perfect Hair Day

Perfect Hair Day Shampoo: If there were something such as too gentle, then this shampoo would be it. I was only able to get 2 uses out of the 30 ml tube. But, 2 uses were all I needed to prove that this shampoo wouldn’t cut it for me. It doesn’t lather if you have the slightest amount of oil or product in your hair. I think this is great for people who wash their hair daily. Hair washed daily doesn’t really have much buildup to begin with. The shampoo is gentle enough for daily use and doesn’t irritate or strip the scalp.

Perfect Hair Day Conditioner: The conditioner is thin and light. It’s not particularly hydrating, but a good daily conditioner. I imagine the almost $25.00 price point is really more for the quality of the product rather than its conditioning abilities. By quality I’m referring to the fact that Living Proof are known for being less inclined toward harsh chemicals such as sulfates and parabens. It has a nice salon scent which lingers in a non-offensive way.

Perfect Hair Day 5-in-1 Styling Treatment: I was curious to try this purely based on Tiffany’s review. I’m still hesitant to apply to my roots, but it’s been working well otherwise. It’s a light, thin lotion. I like to apply it at night after washing my hair. I then sleep with my hair in a loose braid and wake up with loose, frizz-free waves.

Of the 3 products in the line, the 5-in-1 Styling Treatment is my favorite.

Overall, I liked all 3 products, but not sure if I liked them enough to justify the $25.00 price point for each item.

I’m so happy I was able to get the Living Proof itch out of my system with just 10 bucks!
