Devita Solar Protective Moisturizer

Why hasn’t DeVita’s Solar Protective Moisturizer received Allure Magazine’s seal of approval yet?

DeVita’s Solar Protective moisturizer is the best marriage between a moisturizer, SPF, and anti-aging treatment. The consistency is somewhere between a gel and a lotion.

  1. Does it moisturize? Yes.

  2. Does the hyaluronic acid plump up the skin? It sure does!

  3. Does the offer sun protection? Yup! SPF 30+ for that matter.

Aside from the obvious, here are a few more attributes:

  • 100% vegan

  • paraben free

  • not tested on animals

  • doesn’t contain GMO

  • organic

  • gluten sensitive safe

DeVita is sold at Whole Foods. To me, that speaks to its quality.

I first came across it while searching for SPF for oily skin. I came across Monika’s post nearly 2 years ago and have used up multiple tubes since. (I secretly pride myself on using all the other products she had mentioned in that post).

The Solar Protective Moisturizer (SPM) costs $25.00 at Whole Foods, but I’ve often been able to find it on Vitacost.com for 50% off. I think this is an amazing product for $12.50, but I would also happily pay full price for it.

It sinks in easily and performs great under makeup. Often times I’ve found that gel-like products tend to ball up under makeup. This has definitely not been my experience with the SPM, despite buffing my foundation over it with a brush in the morning.

A lot of products make a lot of claims. Every once in a blue moon a product comes along without any fanfare and just knocks it out of the park.

Devita’s Solar Protective moisturizer with SPF 30+ is that product for me.

The quality and performance of the SPM makes me want to explore the beauty aisle at Whole Foods a little bit more.
